Preparing Your Property to Rent

1. Market Appraisal

Find out what rent you can anticipate achieving on a per calendar month (pcm).

2. Which Service is right?

Lettings Agents will usually offer a range of services each carrying a different fee structure.

3. Marketing

Before the property can be advertised to rent, an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) is required.

4. Viewings

Viewings will usually be conducted with an Agent present in a vacated property.

5. Communication

Whilst your property is on the market, your Agent should keep you informed of interest shown.

6. Safety

As a Landlord you need to ensure the safety of your tenants and their guests. Some requirements are mandatory.
