Tenant Process During COVID-19

Finding your new home is an exciting milestone, we endeavour to make the process as easy and stress free as possible during these unprecedented times.

Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, here at Lang Town & Country we are following our governing bodies as well as the Government’s guidelines. Our aim is to conduct our business as best we possibly can ensuring both Landlords and Tenants as well as our own safety at all times.

  • View the video tour online
  • Ask any questions by telephone or email
  • Fill in application form for us to confirm that the landlord is happy to proceed, this can be found on our website
(After submitting your application please allow 24hrs for a response, we will send you notification as soon as we are updated).
  • Once accepted we will ask you to pay a holding deposit of one weeks worth of rent to secure the property
  • Carry out a physical viewing if required (after health questions are answered), if property is not suitable holding fee will be refunded
  • Phone the office for final confirmation before processing references and agree a proposed tenancy start date.
  • We require proof of photographic ID (passport) and proof of address (utility bill/driving licence)
  • Once references are back and any final inspections are completed we will then confirm the Move in Date.
  • Before the tenancy start date you will need to pay the first months rent minus the holding deposit and the deposit equivalent to 5 weeks rent
  • You will be emailed the tenancy agreement for online signing as well as all paperwork associated with the tenancy
  • You will be emailed a link to ‘My property file’. Once logged in you will find your inventory and meter readings
  • To report maintenance you will need to log this through the ‘ My Property File App’
