I was really impressed at how helpful LTC have been right from the start of the process. Tracey was lovely and friendly when she showed me round the property twice and gave me some great information. Becky the sales progressor has been really tenacious and thorough all the way along which has been really useful, as we were having to push the “less-than-speedy” solicitors continually. Not your usual estate agent experience and if I ever sell my property I will definitely use them. Would recommend highly!

I would highly recommend Langtown and Co for anybody looking for a good agency to rent through. At the beginning and throughout the tenancy they have been very helpful, easily contactable and quick to reply to any queries/questions. Some advice I have for people renting, in order to have the most positive experience is communication with the agency, so that whatever issues there may be, they can be sorted promptly. Another is, anything relating to agreements or plans should be done via email. As with any tenancy, you should make sure you and the agency both have the pics/videos of the property as soon as you move in, so that you know what state the property should be in for when you move out. I would highly suggest liaising with Langtown prior to exiting the tenancy in order to be explicitly aware of what will be expected upon moving out. The standards for cleanliness are extremely high, which is a double edged sword, but no issue as long as you are aware. Also, make sure you find out where all the Elec/gas/water meters are right at the beginning of the tenancy. Saves time and effort down the line. Some suggestions for you guys at Langtown: Everything from the beginning of the tenancy and throughout was amazing. For end of tenancies though, based on my own experience, I would highly recommend sending a checklist as soon as someone sends in their notice so that they have something to work with in terms of cleaning and what they need to focus on or report before leaving, and suggest to the tenants that they use professional cleaning services and provide the invoice. Essentially, to manage expectations and make the leaving process amicable and quick and also as seamless as possible. Other than this, all the agents at Langtown that I have had contact with in the tenancy were extremely professional in their email correspondence and were truly cooperative. I happened to be evicted due to the landlady wanting to sell the house, which made everything a little bit more stressful, however this is not a reflection on the agency. All in all, my experience has been rather positive. Massive thanks to Claire and Christine!

My Wife and I started looking for our future home in Plymouth earlier this year, being from outside of the area it was somewhat difficult to schedule appointments to view properties with the many Estate Agents that we were registered with to ensure the best prospect of making our journeys to Plymouth worthwhile and having more that one property to view. En route to view properties with other agents our Son (who lives locally) contacted us to advise that Lang Town and Country had just taken a property on that we might wish to view. We contacted Lang Town and Country (who we had not registered with) and asked if there was any chance of viewing the property at a time that suited our other viewings. Lang Town and Country were happy to schedule an appointment for us withing a matter of a few hours that same day. We arrived as agreed mid afternoon to view the property to be met by Sam. She was very helpful, knew the area and answered all of our questions. A great ambassador for the Company. Subsequently we offered on the property and finally reached an acceptable figure to purchase. At all stages of the process we were kept fully informed by Nikki and the other members of the Team who we spoke too over the weeks leading up to completion. At all times we were met with courtesy and politeness and even when I asked for another viewing just before exchange in order to check something that was concerning me Lang Town and Country obliged. All in all Judith (my Wife) and I have been delighted in our dealings with all members of the Team and the way they conduct business. Buying and selling properties as we know can be fraught with frustration and worries, our view is that this has been by far the best experience we have had with an Estate Agent, and trust me we have had a few with buying and selling here in the UK as well as in Bulgaria and more recently France. Save yourselves the bother and based on our experience we have been delighted to use Lang Town and Country, we will certainly have further dealings as the need demands without hesitation. As the old advert for Carlsberg used to imply "if Carlsberg did Estate Agents it'd be Lang Town and Country". Massive thanks to all of the Team for getting us sorted and to the previous owners Family who very kindly left the Garden neat and tidy, please convey our many thanks.
