Broadland Gardens is a new housing development comprising 10 family homes with gardens, ranging from two- to four-bedroom accommodation in a mix of terrace, coach house, semi-detached and detached homes.
The homes have been designed so that they can be adapted over time to changing requirements of their owners and will be energy efficient to live in.
The properties will be contemporary in appearance with a focus upon the quality of the living environment, the architects taking design inspiration from the flexibility, simplicity of form and use of materials that is characteristic of Plymouth’s 19th Century housing. They are arranged around a central green space, which will be a signature for the development.
All properties have two allocated parking spaces and will be future-proofed for electric charging of cars and bikes.
The development is the first scheme that Plymouth City Council has delivered directly since 1983.
