Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, here at Lang Town & Country we are following our governing bodies as well as the Government’s guidelines.
Our team will continue to carry out valuations / appraisals. However, we ask that all clients contact us via telephone or email us with enquires, rather than visit our offices in person.
We’ve implemented the following measures which will be in effect until we are advised differently.
These will allow us to continue to provide a great service for our clients and carry on what we love to do – which is selling and letting properties.
Lang Town & Country Sales
This month has been proactive so far and our sales teams are enjoying good levels of activity, taking new properties on the market and agreeing sales.
We always strive for high levels of professionalism but we have an understanding of the concerns shared in the media, and the health and safety for our staff and our clients remains our top priority.
We will be carrying out viewings and market appraisals every day, but clients will be asked some additional questions before a viewing / market appraisal can be booked.
Putting these small new procedures into place has resulted in extremely positive feedback and, more importantly, reassurance to those who may of been concerned.
Lang Town & Country Lettings
We would like to inform all our clients that we will continue to carry out our management services to the best of our ability, while keeping disruption to a minimum. Provisions are being put into place for home working where applicable.
All team members carrying out viewings will be confirming their appointments and asking prospective applicants as well as residing tenants and landlords (if applicable) that they have no COVID-19 symptoms as set out by the Government, and that all parties are in agreement for the appointment to take place. Clear records of all conversations with regards to this will be recorded.
Team members will carry hand sanitiser and no personal contact will be made. Where appropriate, with empty properties, applicants will be offered for the viewing to be carried out via Skype or FaceTime.
Furthermore, all routine inspections have been postponed until further notice.
Regarding maintenance of properties, consideration will be made as to whether it is absolutely necessary to deploy a contractor.
Tenants and contractors again will be asked whether they have a high temperature or a recent dry cough, or have had any contact with anyone with symptoms, and clear records of all conversations will be kept.
If you have any questions regarding sales, lettings or new homes, or any other general enquiries, please get in touch.
