Lang Town & Country are pleased to be continuing their sponsorship of Plymouth Cricket Club for the 2016 season
Plymouth Cricket Club are looking forward to this season in the Devon Premier League not only with two leading cricketers from ‘down under’ but with another one to help the whole club!! Anthony Atkinson has joined the club as their overseas player while Hamish Gardiner, an Australian playing for Scotland, has re-joined the club. In addition Tim Turnbull has also joined the club for the summer. Tim is a leading coach in Australia and asked if he could be at the club in a voluntary capacity to gain experience in English conditions. Not to hopefully be outdone, the club has a number of extremely highly regarded local young cricketers who are hoping to be successful and are pushing to play Devon county cricket this season.
The club is committed to encouraging cricket at all skill levels as well as age groups. For the first time, sessions are taking place for children in school year 2 and below as well as for school years 3 & 4.
