Subscribe to our Lang Town & Country YouTube channel and hear about new rental properties in Plymouth before they hit the market.
Unprecedented activity in the Plymouth rental market has led to people missing out on new properties when they become available.
Demand is huge for quality properties, with more people actively looking for homes to rent than there is stock available.
And this incredible surge in interest has presented a unique set of challenges for letting agents in Plymouth.
We’re currently seeing more activity than any other time in living memory, with multiple tenants applying when properties come to the market.
Our Lang Town & Country team prides ourselves on providing an outstanding service for tenants and landlords alike.
We have three offices in Plymouth, but our main lettings operation is based in our Mannamead Road headquarters.
Undoubtedly one of our most important marketing channels is YouTube, and our channel now has more than 1,900 subscribers.
Here’s how signing up to our YouTube channel can help you avoid missing out on new rental homes in Plymouth.
What are our virtual property tours?
At Lang Town & Country, we’re always thinking of ways to help our clients and landlords market their properties.
The process is all designed to achieve a sale or get a tenant in situ as quickly as possible.
Since implementing our virtual viewings in March 2020, we’ve enjoyed enormous success on behalf of our clients, while ensuring they feel safe and secure.
How do our virtual property tours work?
When we visit a property, we film a walkthrough video which we then add to our YouTube channel.
Here you’ll find all our latest virtual tours, which allow you to get a feel of a property from the comfort of your own home.
The beauty of our virtual tours is that the video is uploaded to our YouTube channel the day we visit.
You can then book a viewing by calling our office the day it is uploaded for sales or complete an application form for lettings.
We don’t claim to be Steven Spielberg, but these short films are perfect for offering people a first look inside.
We also use our VIP Facebook group to market your home. This group has more than 800 members and is growing by the day.
Paul Preen, our Sales Director, says: “When instructions are received to market a property, we revisit to take the photos, floor-plan measurements etc.
“This then has to be prepared and sent back to the vendor for approval before we can start to advertise it online.
“The beauty of the video tours is that they are a true representation of the property and get uploaded to the YouTube channel instantly.”
How do our virtual property tours help landlords and tenants?
We’ve enjoyed tremendous success since launching our virtual tours service in March 2020.
And we have sold and let a number of homes before they’ve even been listed on Rightmove and Zoopla.
More than 1,900 people have now subscribed to our YouTube channel. Signing up to our channel is the best way to watch all of our guided property tours.
You’ll even receive a notification the moment we upload a new video. We also utilise our social media channels, which allows us to showcase properties to a larger audience and gain maximum exposure for potential buyers and tenants.
What do we think of our virtual property tours?
Unlike some lettings agents who advertise video tours, ours are just that – a virtual viewing that gives you a real feel of the property.
We believe that the video tour has been a game-changer and represents the future of marketing properties.
To see in advance what’s coming to the sales and lettings markets before the usual property portals advertise them, simply subscribe to our YouTube channel.
It’s free and you can book viewings as soon as you see the property.
